Out of love and devotion to Saint Nicholas – the great wonderworker and quick helper of those in need – we have decided to offer a therapeutic fasting sponsorship, in the form of a fully funded programme.
This sponsorship is intended for a person who wishes to attend a water fasting retreat for the healing of the body and strengthening of the soul, but who does not have the financial means to do so.
We believe that when the desire for change is sincere, God finds a way to provide the help a person needs.
What the Sponsorship Includes
The selected participant will receive free participation in a 10-day fasting retreat, organised at Neamț Monastery (Neamț County), in a place of deep spiritual significance.
The sponsorship includes:
- full participation in the 10-day therapeutic fasting programme
- accommodation for the entire duration of the retreat
- medical evaluation and monitoring
- access to all therapeutic procedures included in the programme
- participation in the spiritual activities of the retreat
